Sunny Deol Returns As ‘Fauji’ In ‘Border 2’ After 27 Years
On Thursday, June 13, actor Sunny Deol revealed the upcoming film ‘Border 2’ with an announcement video shared on social media.
In the video, he declares ‘27 saal pehle ek fauji ne vada kiya tha ki vo vapas aayega. Ussi vaade ko poora karne, hindustan ki mitti ko apna salaam kehne, aa raha hai (Twenty-seven years ago, a soldier vowed to return. He is now coming to fulfill that promise and salute the soil of India).’
The announcement video labels ‘Border 2’ as ‘India’s largest war film,’ but the producers did not disclose further details.
Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, who were also behind the original ‘Border’ released on the same day in 1997, will produce the film. It will be directed by Anurag Singh.
