Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan To Release In Japan After RRR’s Blockbuster Run In The Country

Jawan Japan Release: Shah Rukh Khan’s movie ‘Jawan’ became one of the biggest hits of 2023 and is now all set to release in Japan. The actor enjoys a good fan following in Japan and many Indian movies have seen glorious box office runs on Japanese screens. Shah Rukh Khan has finally unveiled the new trailer of ‘Jawan’ for its release in Japan and fans have expressed their excitement over the actor’s global dominance.

Sharing the trailer, Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “Get ready for an intense, fiery and action-packed adventure as #Jawan makes its way to Japan! #Jawan arrives in Japan on 29th November!”

‘Jawan’ recently completed the one year of its release. Shah Rukh Khan penned a heartfelt note for his team and thanked the audience for making the movie a blockbuster. He wrote, “The film that we made with a lot of heart… has turned one year ‘old’ today… or shall I say one year ‘Jawan’. Without the storytelling, skill and vision of @atlee47, this film wouldn’t have been possible and of course… massy massy massy!!! Sending my love to the team that toiled away to make this film what it is — @nayanthara @actorvijaysethupathi, @deepikapadukone, all the Chief’s girls and @redchilliesent !! And thank you to the audiences for accepting our film with such love and happiness!!!”

The movie also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara in the lead roles. While speaking to Hindustan Times, Vijay talked about his experience of working with Shah Rukh Khan and praised his energy on the set. He shared, “I learn something from everyone. What I learned from Shah Rukh Khan is that his energy levels never go down. One day, during the shoot, he was unwell but you just can’t figure it out unless he tells you. That’s an amazing quality he has. He shared a lot of things about me which I felt very happy about.”

Even though he played the role of an antagonist in ‘Jawan’, the actor shared that he does not want to do villainous roles anymore. He said, “I first said this during the promotions of Merry Christmas that I don’t want to play villain roles and guest roles going forward. I have turned down many such roles in recent times. When you do multiple roles in the same space (antagonist), then there are also limitations and comparisons to your earlier films and performances.”

Deepika Padukone was seen in a special appearance as well in ‘Jawan’. The movie also stars Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover, Riddhi Dogra, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Girija Oak, Lehar Khan, and Eijaz Khan were seen in pivotal roles.
