Sean Diddy Combs, a prominent figure in the American music Industry is under high legal scrutiny as prosecutors have introduced fresh charges ahead of his upcoming federal trial in May. The revised indictment, filed this week adds two new charges which are sex trafficking and transporting individuals for prostitution. These charges have escalated the ongoing controversial case.
Past Charges
Earlier to this, Diddy was already facing three serious federal charges which were racketeering, conspiracy and sex trafficking and transporting individuals for illegal purposes. According to the prosecutors, the new allegations basically details how combs and his associates allegedly lured women into exploitative situations under the situations. Prosecutors claim that some of these incidents took place over several years and across multiple state.
Detailed Pattern Of Exploitation
Prosecutors allege that Sean recruited, enticed, harbored, transported and maintained Victim-2. They further claimed that, he attempted, aided and willfully caused Victim-2 to engage in commercial sex acts. The indictment also accuses him of transporting Victim-2 and other sex workers across both state and international borders with intent that the individuals engage in prostitution.
As the case unfolds, all eyes will be on the courtroom to see how the high-profile proceedings impact the rapper.
