‘Better Learn To Stay In Your Limits’

Writer of Adipurush, Manoj Muntashir Shukla, has given an open dare to Filmmaker-Actor Anurag Kashyap, who allegedly harmed the sentiments of the Brahmin community. He shared a video on social media in which he is seen giving a direct warning to Anurag Kashyap. This started when the ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ director responded to a comment from a user on social media.

War Of Words Escalates

Taking to his Instagram handle, Manoj posted a video clip to target Anurag, he said, “If your income is less, restrain your expenses, and if your information is less, restrain your words – Anurag Kashyap, both your income and information are limited. You do not have it in you to pollute even an inch of the Brahmin legacy- however, as you have expressed your desire, I would like to send some photographs to your house- then you decide on whom you want to spill your dirty water on (urinate on).”

Further in the video, he added, “Acharya Chanakya, Chandra Tiwari Shekhar Azad, Bajirao Ballad, Lord Parashurama, Ramakrishna Paramahansa, Adi Shankaracharya, Mangal Pandey, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Tatya Tope, Rajguru, Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, Param Vir Captain Manoj Pandey, Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, Pandit Shriram Sharma Acharya, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, Sangeet Samrat Tansen, Lata Mangeshkar, Rani Lakshmibhai, Maha Kavi Kalidas, Goswami Tulsidas- countless haters like you will end before the glorious legacy of the Brahmins.”

Later in the video, Manoj warned Anurag Kashyap by advising him that if he is not able to follow his words, he must learn to stay within limits. “I, a Brahmin give you an open challenge- pick one name from the 21 names given by me, and I will be sure to send you the photograph, and if you do not have it in you to act on your words, better learn to stay in your limits,” Manoj added.

Anurag Kashyap has not replied to the post yet.

About Anurag’s Provocative Remark

For the uninformed, this controversy started when Anurag Kashyap replied to a social media user, who commented, “Brahmins tumhare baap hain. Jitna tumhari unse sulgegi utna tumhari sulgaayenge (Brahmins are your fathers. The more you mess with them, the more they will burn you).” Over this statement, Anurag responded, “Brahmin pe main mootoonga..koi problem? (I will urinate on Brahmins… any problem?).

On Friday night, Anurag issued a public apology to address the misunderstandings. So, for this, he took to his Instagram handle and wrote a message to explain publicly what he meant. He said his intent was not to harm anyone’s emotions.
