YouTuber and content creator Ranveer Allahbadia, popularly known as BeerBiceps, has shared how he’s been coping in the aftermath of the India’s Got Latent controversy. Taking to Instagram on Monday night, Ranveer posted videos from his gym session, opening up about the shift in his priorities.
In one clip, he was seen performing deadlifts and revealed his current focus is on building strength. “Been focusing on getting strong of lately,” he wrote. In another Instagram story, where he showed his flexibility routine, he added, “Also focusing heavily on flexibility. Something I’ve ignored since my judo training between age 10-16. Body is just beginning to get more bendy. But wow! Helps both my mental health and spiritual journey.”

These updates come shortly after Ranveer opened up about the emotional toll the controversy had taken on him. Reflecting on the most difficult thoughts he’s faced in the past few months, he wrote, “That I let down the families of my team members because of my mistake. People don’t understand how many jobs were at stake. Quickly wrote off my career and hence the career of 300+ people. Learnt very deeply about human nature. Mobs love seeing people fall. But we will keep moving forward. I am not 100% okay even now. Have to give it Have to give it my all because MANY livelihoods depend on my work,” he wrote.

Alongside sharing glimpses of his intense workouts he also posted a powerful message “Rise higher now. This time with stability & balance. Calm, collected, sharp as obsidian.”
About The Controversy:
YouTubers Ranveer Allahbadia, Ashish Chanchlani and social media influencer Apoorva Mukhija appeared on India’s Got Latent as guests. The backlash was caused due to Ranveer’s question for one contestant as he said, “Watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life. Or would you join in once and stop it forever?” The uproar was also caused due to Apoorva’s comments on the show.
These comments caused huge backlash, which led to many people demanding ban of India’s Got Latent and Ranveer’s podcasts. The controversy escalated when the complaint were also filed with the Mumbai Commissioner and Maharashtra Women’s Commission for allegedly using abusive language on the show.
All Indian Cine Workers’ Associations (AICWA) wrote a letter to the Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, demanding a ban on ‘India’s Got Latent’ and legal action against its creators.
Ranveer later apologised for statements and has not released a new episode on his YouTuber channel. Meanwhile, Samay Raina deleted all the episodes of India’s Got Latent.
