Ajay Devgn’s Upcoming Sequel Raid 2: Cast, Plot, Songs

Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 is the sequel of 2018 action-thriller Raid which is all set to hit theatres on May 1, 2025. Also starring Vaani Kapoor, and Riteish Deshmukh, the film continues the story of an IRS officer Amay Patnaik, with Riteish Deshmukh playing the antagonist Dada Manohar Bhai and Vaani Kapoor playing the role of Patnaik’s wife. Other key roles include actor Rajat Kapoor, Saurabh Shukla, Supriya Pathak, and Amit Sial.

Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta, its is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak.

The trailer offers audience a thrilling glimpse into Patnaik’s 75th raid, showing an intense face off between Devgn and Deshmukh’s characters. The trailer promises powerful dialogues and action-packed sequences that have already captured the audiences attention.

It consists of a runtime of 2 hours, 30 minutes, and 53 seconds and the CBFC has rated the film ‘UA 7+’, making it suitable for viewers aged 7.

The film’s soundtrack has already begun making waves with “Nasha” featuring Tamannaah Bhatia in a dance number, while “Kamle” and “Tumhe Dillagi” shows the romantic chemistry between Devgn and Kapoor. Where as “Money Money” brings together Yo Yo Honey Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez for an energetic party anthem.

Raid 2 will clash alongside the horror comedy ‘The Bhootnii’ starring Sanjay Dutt, Mouni Roy and Palak Tiwari.
