Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par Trailer Launch Delayed Post Pahalgam Terror Attack: Report

Aamir Khan will make a comeback to the theatres with his film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, which has been creating huge hype ever since its announcement. The movie will also star Genelia D’souza and is reportedly a remake of the Spanish film ‘Champions’. As per the reports, the actor has delayed the trailer launch of ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ after Pahalgam terror attack.

As per Hindustan Times, the actor and his team decided to postponed the trailer launch as they felt it would be inappropriate to proceed with the launch at this time.

In an earlier interview, Aamir Khan confirmed that Sitaare Zameen Par will hit the theatres on June 20, 2025.

While speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Aamir talked about the film and said, “Well, it’s a beautiful story. Actually, the easiest way I can describe it is that Taare Zameen Par is a very emotional film that makes you cry. Sitaare Zameen Par makes you laugh; it’s a humorous film. The theme is similar – about people with different abilities, different intelligence, or different challenges – but it’s humour instead of emotion.”

“In many ways, I feel it’s way ahead of Taare Zameen Par, because in Taare Zameen Par, the person with the challenge – Ishaan – was helped by my character. In Sitaare Zameen Par, it’s ten people with challenges who help me, the supposedly ‘normal’ person. So I feel it goes much further. I hope it turns out well,” he added.

On the work front, he was last seen in ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ with Kareena Kapoor, Mona Singh and Naga Chaitanya in the pivotal roles.
