Hawkeye, Black Widow And More

Marvel Cinematic Universe is currently in its Phase Five, with only two more movies left to release in his phase. One of them is ‘Thunderbolts’, which will focus on the team of antiheros as they work together for the US government. ‘Thunderbolts’ will feature popular characters like Yelena, Bucky and Red Guardian, who have appeared in several MCU movies in the pivotal roles.

Captain America: The First Avengers

Captain America: The First Avenger is set during World War II and first introduces Steve Rogers aka Captain America. Sebastian Stan plays James Buchanan Barnes aka Bucky, who is Steve’s best friend.

Captain America: Civil War

Bucky returns in this movie as a physically enhanced brainwashed assassin. He goes against Captain America one again.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Bucly begins working for Hydra, becoming one of its assassins. He is now known as Winter Soldier and goes out on a mission to Nick Fury as ordered by Alexander Pierce. He begins to remember his previous life after Steve Rogers fights against him.

Black Panther

Bucky is framed for bombing the Vienna International Centre, which killed T’Chak. Black Panther wants to take revenge on his father and goes against Bucky, but is saved by Captain America. He also gains the name White Wolf in the movie.

Avengers: Infinity War

Bucky returns to help Avengers and other superheroes to save the world from Thanos. He was killed when Thanos becomes successful in removing half of the universe.

Avengers: Endgame

Bucky returns in the Endgame when everyone is resurrected by Hulk and then helps others to defeat Thanos.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier

Bucky is now with John Walkers in The Falcon And The Winter Soldier. Their relationship will be shown in Thunderbolts.

Black Widow

Black Widow is set during the events of Captain America: Civil War and introduces Florence Pugh as Yelena. She is Natasha’s sister and was also trained in the Red Room. The movie also shows David Harbour as Red Guardian, who is a father-figure to Romanoff and Belova. He will also essay an important role in Thunderbolts.

Ant-Man And The Wasp

Ant-Man And The Wasp introduces Hannah John-Kamen’s Ghost, who will now star in Thunderbolts in a pivotal role.

Hawkeye

Even though Hawkeye introduces Clint Barton’s prodigy, Florence Pugh’s Yelena plays a key role in the series. She is seen going against Hawkeye as she thinks that he is responsible for her sister Natasha’s death.

Captain America: Brave New World

Bucky is seen in a cameo role in Captain America: Brave New World and is campaigning to be a congressman. This plot is continued in Thunderbolts.
