Blackpink’s Rose To Release Song For Brad Pitt’s Movie ‘F1’Alongside Ed Sheeran And Doja Cat

Rose, popular K-pop star and Blackpink member, is basking in the success of her songs including the chartbuster ‘APT’. She will now release a new song for Brad Pitt’s upcoming movie ‘F1’ and has created massive hype among fans. The makers of F1 dropped an exciting list of singers and musicians that have worked on the soundtrack of Brad Pitt-starrer.

Announcing the news, Rose expressed her excitement as she gears up to release her first movie soundtrack. She wrote, “F1 THE MOVIE out JUNE 27 i am soooooo fricken excited for you all to hear my very first movie soundtrack.. it’s happening!! this movie’s gonna be willldddd.”

F1 also stars Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Javier Bardem. The movie will release on June 27, 2025, and will arrive internationally two days before on June 25. It is directed by Joseph Kosinski with a screenplay written by Ehren Kruger.

Meanwhile, all ten Formula One teams and their drivers in the 2023 season will reportedly appear as themselves in the movie. This includes Max Verstappen, Sergio Pérez, Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz Jr., Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, Fernando Alonso, Lance Stroll, Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon, Nyck De Vries, Valtteri Bottas, Zhou Guanyu, Nico Hülkenberg, Kevin Magnussen, Daniel Ricciardo, Yuki Tsunoda, Liam Lawson, Logan Sargeant and Alexander Albon.

The movie revolves around Sonny Hayes, who retires as F1 driver as he meets a horrible crash in 1990s. He comes out of his retirement after a Formula One team owner and friend, Ruben, contacts him to mentor rookie prodigy Joshua.

On the work front, Rose released four singles in 2024 including ‘Apt’ with Bruno Mars, ‘Number One Girl’ and ‘Toxic Till The End’.
