Hanumankind Collaborates With Anirudh Ravichander For Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Jana Nayagan’

Hanumankind, the rising hip-hop artist whose real name is Sooraj Cherukat is stepping into Tamil cinema and has confirmed his collaboration with acclaimed composer Anirudh Ravichander for a rap track in “Jana Nayagan,” Thalapathy Vijay’s final film before he fully steps into political career.

In a recent interview with Ananda Vikatan, the rapper revealed, “I have rendered a great rap song for Thalapathy Vijay in Jana Nayagan, composed by Anirudh.” While details about the track remain under wraps, the announcement has already created buzz across social media platforms.

Previously known for his contribution to the soundtrack of the Kannada action film “Popcorn Monkey Tiger” (2020) with the track “Maadeva” and his recent contribution “The Last Dance” for Fahadh Faasil’s “Aavesham” (2024).

“Jana Nayagan,” directed by H Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions, is set to hit the theaters on Pongal, on January 9, 2026. Starring Vijay, Pooja Hegde, and Bobby Deol in lead roles, also featuring Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, Priyamani, Mamitha Baiju, Monisha Blessy, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.

The film was announced in September 2024 under the working title “Thalapathy 69” marking Vijay’s 69th film as protagonist before officially being named “Jana Nayagan” in January 2025.

As this is Vijay’s final film before his political plunge “Jana Nayagan” has already become one of the most anticipated Tamil releases of 2026.
