Mom-To-Be Kiara Advani Lands In New York For Her MET Gala Debut

Kiara Advani, who is expecting a baby, has shared her first picture from New York where she will attend the MET Gala for the first time on May 5, 2025. This year’s event marks not only her first appearance at the iconic fashion event but also her first red carpet moment with a visible baby bump. Now by sharing her first social media update from New York she has now heightened the anticipation for her groundbreaking MET Gala appearance.

On Instagram, Kiara posted a photo of her welcome gifts, which included a special cake shaped like a tiny mannequin wearing a black dress. The cake was decorated with flowers and chocolates, and had “THE MET GALA” written on a small banner. Next to the cake was a vase of pink roses, with the New York skyline visible through the window. Kiara simply added a heart to the picture.

According to fashion insiders she will showcase her maternity style in a creation by acclaimed designer Gaurav Gupta, known for his avant-garde couture.

The “Shershaah” actress isn’t the only Bollywood star making waves at this year’s MET GALA. Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan is also slated for his MET Gala debut, reportedly wearing a custom Sabyasachi outfit. Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh and Isha Ambani are also rumored to be joining the event where as Priyanka Chopra Jonas is also all set to dazzle at the MET Gala for the fifth time according to media reports.
