Babil Khan Reactivates Instagram And Expresses Gratitude To Industry Peers: ‘Don’t Have The Energy…’
Babil Khan recently caused a stir on social media when a clip of him crying and stating, “Bollywood is so f****, Bollywood is so rude” went viral where he also mentioned several names including Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor and outsiders like Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal and Adarsh Gourav which led netizens to assume that he was blaming the individuals he named and shortly after Babil deleted his Instagram account, further fueling concerns.
However, Babil’s family soon issued a statement clarifying the context behind the viral video, assuring fans that the actor is safe and simply had a difficult day.
Now, Babil has reactivated his Instagram account and had posted a series of stories to clarify his intentions that were actually meant to show support for his industry peers and not criticism which was widely interpreted.
Babil reshared the post of actor Kubbra Sait where she had shared the official statement from his family regarding the matter. In the caption, he thanked Kubbra and wrote “The video was extremely misinterpreted, I was trying to show support to @ananyapanday @shanayakapoor02 @gouravadarsh @arjunkapoor @raghavjuyal @arijitsingh” He also added, “I genuinely don’t have the energy to indulge more but I do this as responsibility for my peers that I truly admire.”
In his next story, he reposted the same statement post from Raghav Juyal and captioned the reshared story, writing, “@raghavjuyal bhai you are my icon, my idol, and my elder brother that I never had.”

In another story, Babil reshared a story from Siddhant Chaturvedi with and wrote “@siddhantchaturvedi I love you brother.” Siddhant shared a short video clip where Babil can be heard saying “Mujhe Itihaas likhna hai, Kitaab nahi” (I want to write history, not just a book).

The Gehraiyaan actor also pens down a note on the issue, saying, “I usually never engage with s*** about me and my colleagues but this one is personal. So to all the Redditors, gossip columns and media portals of the internet, Stop. We love to hate and hate to love, is this what we have come to? Stop looking for drama here. All of us are working hard to bring drama to your screens. Shayad waha thodi kami reh gayi hogi jo aap hamari neeji zindagi mein woh dhundne lage ho (Maybe there is a lack in that space that you are pestering in our personal lives to find drama)? Peace out.”
