Taapsee Pannu And Kanika Dhillon Begin Work On Next Chapter

Netflix’s popular darkly seductive thriller series “Haseen Dillruba” is getting a third installment. Haseen Dillruba (2021) and Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba (2024), Taapsee Pannu and Kanika Dhillon are all set to bring back the unpredictable Rani for a third round of love, lies, and lethal drama.

According to a Mid-Day report, scripting for the third installment has officially begun. Sources close to the project suggest the sequel will be “more fun, juicy, and thrilling” than ever before, pushing the story of Rani and Rishu to even greater extremes “It is one of the most successful titles for the platform. So, the aim is to create a more fun, juicy, and thrilling third part,” the insider said.

The buzz began when Taapsee posted a clip from Phir Aayi Haseen Dillruba with the caption: “Missing the pagalpan, Pandit ji. What say?” To writer Kanika Dhillon replied “The wait won’t last that long, Rani ji! Panditji is already onto the agli kitaab. Iss wali mein there is Pagalpan x 3”. Taapsee further added “Let’s ask the audience who gave us so much love… What twist are you expecting in the unexpected life of Rani this time?” this exchange sent fans into a frenzy.

While no plot details have been revealed yet, the team promises that this installment will be even more intense than previous ones.

Meanwhile on work front, Taapsee Pannu will appear in another Netflix film called “Gandhari” a dark psychological drama which is directed by Devashish Makhija and produced by Kanika Dhillon also starring Ishwak Singh, it is expected to drop later this year.
