Kiara Advani Walks In Gaurav Gupta’s Masterpiece With A Hidden Message

Bollywood actress Kiara Advani who is expecting her first child with husband Sidharth Malhotra has just made her debut at the iconic Met Gala 2025. The event has been held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. Kiara Advani graced the red carpet during the event in a specially designed gown by renowned Indian designer ‘Gaurav Gupta’.

A Gown That Has A Hidden Message

Kiara’s monochrome gown was not just about fashion but carried a deeper, hidden and emotional message. Titled ‘ Bravehearts’ the gown had an antique gold breastplate which was decorated with ghungroos and crystals all over it and at the centre, there were two symbolic forms of a Mother Heart and Baby Heart which was connected by a chain resembling the umbilical cord and represented the beautiful bond between a mother and her child.

Glamour With A Traditional Touch

Shershaah actress’s look was further elevated by a dramatic double-panelled cape which was a tribute to the late Andre Leon Talley, the legendary fashion editor known for his bold silhouettes and influence on Black fashion. This was connected with Met Gala’s exhibition theme which was ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’ celebrating the cultural significance of Black dandyism and tailored fashion.

However, Kiara’s glowing look has attracted the most attention, the hidden message behind the gown she wore made it truly memorable for her debut. ‘Bravehearts’ was a tribute to motherhood with a touch of fashion.
