Mahira Khan, Bilal Abbas Khan Condemns Operation Sindoor


Pakistani celebrities have voiced their strong condemn to India’s recent strikes on terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). They labelled the action as ‘cowardly’ and ‘disgraceful.’ This all shortly came after Indian forces launched ‘Operation Sindoor’, which targeted terror infrastructure in the Pakistan.

Mahira Khan Calls India’s Strikes ‘Cowardly

Mahira Khan is one of most post popular star of Pakistan among India. She recently reposted a tweet on her story which criticised the Indian strikes. Taking to her Instagram, She wrote, “Seriously cowardly!!! May Allah protect our country, may better sense prevail. Ameen.”

Bilal Abbas Khan Slams India’s Attack

Actor Bilal Abbas Khan also took to Instagram, condemning the strikes, calling them “disgraceful and cowardly act.” He wrote: “What India has done today is nothing short of a disgraceful and cowardly act. Attacking innocent civilians, taking innocent lives – this is a crime against humanity and cannot be justified or ignored. My heart aches for every Pakistani family that has lost a loved one today. We will not forget this brutality, and we will not stay silent in the face of such injustice.”

Hania Aamir, the most known and loved Pakistani star also expressed her disappointment/6 with a simple message on Instagram, calling the strikes ‘Cowardly.’

Background On India’s Operation Sindoor

The Indian government has confirmed the armed force’s strikes, describing them as ‘measured, precise, and non-escalatory’. They aimed at eliminating terror infrastructure in PoK and Pakistan. The operation, named ‘Operation Sindoor,’ reportedly resulted in the deaths of 17 terrorists and injuries to 60 others. It targeted key terror camps in areas such as Kotli, Ahmadpur Sharqia, Muzaffarabad, Muridke and Faisalabad with the Indian Army emphasizing that no Pakistani military facilities were targeted in the operation.

Political And Public Reactions

The strikes have sparked widespread reactions both in India and Pakistan. Indian Union Ministers Kiren Rijiju and Bandi Sanjay Kumar praised the operation, calling it a necessary response to the Pahalgam attack that killed 26 civilians.
