In the wake of the increased national security rehearsals in the aftermath of the recent terrorist strike in Pahalgam, Maddock Films and Amazon MGM Studios have decided to skip a theatrical release for their next film Bhool Chuk Maaf. The highly awaited family entertainer featuring Rajkummar Rao will now have its premiere on Amazon Prime Video on May 16, 2025.

A Thoughtful Decision By The Makers

With national security being the top priority, the filmmakers decided on a digital release, making it possible for the audience to watch the film comfortably within the confines of their homes. The move has been well-received on social media, with several praising the producers for placing the country above all else.

The movie was previously scheduled for release in theaters this month, and the promotional events were already being organized. However, due to the recent turn of events in Jammu and Kashmir and the security warnings sent across major cities, the makers promptly shifted to an online release.
