Vijay Deverakonda’s much-awaited action-drama film Kingdom has been officially postponed. Initially set for release on 30th May 2025 is now pushed back for few days. This time is the second delay marked for the film as before this it was for 28th March 2025.
Kingdom is directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri and promises to be a spy thriller. The film is been generating much buzz among fans.
Vijay Announces New Date
Vijay took to his official X handle (formerly Twitter) and shared the announcement: “#Kingdom July 04, 2025. Will see you in the cinemas :)”.

The film is jointly produced by Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya and under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
Recently, the makers have shared a poster, giving fans a glimpse of Vijay’s intense look. Seen in a buzz cut beard and moustache, the actor appears fierce and battle-ready, raising excitement for the film’s release.
Vijay Deverakonda’s Upcoming Projects
Fresh off celebrating his 36th birthday, Vijay also revealed his exciting line-up of upcoming films through a series of Instagram posts. He shared posters of his future projects with a simple caption: “Next “.
Among these is VD14, where Vijay is seen in a hermit-like avatar, meditating before an altar. Additionally, he teased his next collaboration under Sri Venkateswara Creations, titled SVC 59, hinting at yet another intense role. The poster reads: “His rage is romance, love is violence.”
Despite the delays, fans remain enthusiastic and are eagerly awaiting Kingdom’s arrival in cinemas.
