Diljit Dosanjh Walks Out Of No Entry Sequel! Know What Led To His Exit


Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh has stepped down from the highly anticipated sequel of ‘No Entry’ co-starring Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. According to a report by Filmfare, Diljit, who was reportedly set to play one of the leads in the film has officially exited the project.

Filmfare quoted the source close to the development which revealed, Diljit opted out due to creative differences with the team, “Diljit was very excited to collaborate with Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. But over the last few weeks, he couldn’t align with the film’s creative ideas. That’s why he’s decided to leave the project because of creative differences.”

A 2005 hit No Entry starring Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan, The sequel is directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Boney Kapoor, it was initially scheduled to hit the theaters in late 2025.

Tamannaah Bhatia is also rumoured to be the part of sequel, reportedly playing a role similar Bipasha Basu played in the original, though no official confirmation has been made yet.

Meanwhile on the work front, Diljit is wrapping up shoot for Sardaarji 3 and will work on Border 2, in which he stars alongside Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan. The film is based on 1971 India Pakistan war, and Diljit will be seen portraying Param Vir Chakra awardee Nirmal Jit Singh Sekhon, an Indian Air Force officer who laid down his life during the war.

Dosanjh recently made his striking debut at the Met Gala 2025, where he walked the blue carpet in a regal Prabal Gurung ensemble, embracing his Punjabi roots.
