Tom Cruise has returned to the big screen with Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning, which is one of the biggest releases worldwide. He has been travelling around the globe to promote Mission Impossible 8 and recently greeted his Indian fans. While speaking to social media influencer Avneet Kaur, Tom Cruise spoke in Hindi and also talked about his experience when he visited India.
While addressing his fans in India, Tom said, “Hello India! I love you!” He further said in Hindi, “Main aap sabse bohot pyaar karta hoon (I love you all very much).”
Recalling his experience in India, he shared, “I feel so much love for India. Amazing country. Amazing people, amazing culture,” he said. “I have to say, the whole experience for me has been etched in my memory. Every single moment. From the moment that I landed, going to the Taj Mahal, to spending time in Mumbai with Anil and all the people at the night of the premiere — I remember every moment quite vividly.”
He added, “I would love to go back to India and make a film there. I love Bollywood films, the skill that it takes you to do what you all do is so natural. I love it when in a scene someone suddenly breaks into a song. I love it. It’s something that I have grown up watching—musicals from different countries. I love Bollywood movies. You can just break out into a song—it’s so beautiful. I love the dancing, singing, the actors. That is such a unique experience and craftsmanship of the actors to be able to sing, dance, and act.”
Meanwhile, Mission Impossible is likely to have bigger or similar opening to recent big Indian releases like Chhaava, L2: Empuraan, Sikandar and more. As per Hindustan Times, the movie has already sold over 60k tickets and its booking for the Hindi version is better than many Hindi films. The final chapter of the Mission Impossible franchise is expected to earn Rs 20 to 25 crore in India.
