Bigg Boss 18 Fame Shilpa Shirodkar Tests Positive For COVID-19; Fans, Celebrities Wish Her Speedy Recovery

Shilpa Shirodkar, who gained popularity on Bigg Boss 18, has tested positive for COVID-19. The actress took to Instagram on May 19 to share the news, just as India sees a rise in COVID-19 cases once again.

“Hello people! I’ve been tested positive for COVID. Stay safe and wear your masks! – Shilpa Shirodkar,” she wrote in her Instagram post. In the caption, she added a heartfelt “Stay Safe”

The post was quickly filled with well wishes, Sonakshi Sinha dropped a comment saying, “Oh god!!! Take care Shilpaaa… speedy recovery.” actress Indira Krishna commented, “take care dear, recover soon…” while her Bigg Boss 18 co contestant Chum Darang wrote, “Get well soon.” Shilpa’s sister Namrata Shirodkar also commented “Get well soon.”

Shilpa was last seen on the reality show Bigg Boss 18, where she quickly became a fan favourite. She formed bonds with contestants like Karan Veer Mehra, Chum Darang, Digvijay Rathee, and Vivian Dsena.

Shilpa made headlines for her fitness transformation, after the show ended. She revealed that her weight loss journey began unintentionally inside the Bigg Boss house. After exiting the house, she maintained her routine and went on to lose an additional 2 kg, bringing her total weight loss to 13-14 kg.
