Ram Gopal Varma Slammed For Obscene Comment On Kiara Advani’s War 2 Look

Kiara Advani’s bikini appearance in the teaser of War 2 has turned heads and instantly set social media abuzz. The actress is seen walking by the pool in a two piece, a scene that fans can not stop gushing over.

However, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma sparked controversy by making an inappropriate comment regarding her scene. In a now deleted tweet, Varma shared an image from the teaser and added a vulgar caption implying a sexist battle between Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR over her. The tweet read:

“The post read, “Instead of our countries and societies, if the war between Hrithik and Jr NTR is on who gets her b**k, then 2 will be a b***buster”.

Screenshots of the tweet were widely circulated and netizens condemned Varma for objectifying the actress. One social media user wrote, “And this is what he is uttering publicly… Can you imagine what he is like in private?”

One user posted, “He lost it many many years ago. Have you not watched his interview with Ashu Reddy and God, Sex and Truth documentary?” another commented, “This man has straight up gone to down bad sleazy levels of tharki.”

Another user slammed the director by saying, “Knew he is idiot and talks bullshit but this time he took thing too far, he never commented so openly for a mainstream bolly actress.” “OG tharki” said one.

War 2, is the sequel of 2019 blockbuster War, set to hit the theatres on August 14, 2025. Produced by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films, it is directed by Ayan Mukerji starring Telugu superstar Jr NTR, Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani. Sharing War 2’s teaser on Instagram Story, Kiara expressed her excitement, “Lots of firsts in this! First YRF film. First action film. First with these 2 amazing heroes. First collaboration with Ayan. And of course first bikini shot. Here’s the teaser. Hope we have got you excited for August.”
