‘Jewel Thief’ Actress Nikita Dutta And Her Mother Test Positive For COVID-19, Urge Everyone To Stay Safe

Actress Nikita Dutta, who was last seen with Saif Ali Khan in Jewel Thief, has tested positive for COVID-19. Nikita took to Instagram to share the update, revealing that both she and her mother have tested positive for the virus. She asked fans to “stay safe”.

On her Instagram story, Nikita wrote, “Covid has come to say hello to my mum and me. Hoping this uninvited guest doesn’t stay long. See you after this short quarantine. Stay safe, everyone.”

Nikita is currently under home quarantine and is reportedly experiencing only mild symptoms. She has postponed all work commitments until further notice.

Recently Bigg Boss 18 fame Shilpa Shirodkar was tested positive for COVID-19. The actress took to Instagram on May 19 to share the news, just as India sees a rise in COVID-19 cases once again.

“Hello people! I’ve been tested positive for COVID. Stay safe and wear your masks! – Shilpa Shirodkar,” she wrote in her Instagram post. In the caption, she added a heartfelt “Stay Safe”

However, in the her recent Instagram story, Shilpa confirmed that she’s recovered and feeling fine. Shilpa shared her health update and wrote: “Finally recovered, feeling fine, thank you each one of you for your love. Have a super blessed Thursday.”
