Fans Console Preity Zinta After PBKS’s IPL 2025 Defeat

It’s a historic and heartwarming moment for Royal Challengers Bangalore fans as RCB has finally clinched the IPL trophy after an 18 year long wait. The heartbreak was equally real for Preity Zinta’s Punjab Kings (PBKS), a team that once again fell short despite a tough fight.

Though social media is flooded with tributes for Virat Kohli, but empathy and admiration is also flowing in for Preity Zinta. The actress and co-owner of PBKS, who was visibly emotional after her team’s loss, has found unwavering support from fans across the country.

On X (formerly Twitter), fans poured in with heartfelt messages, urging Zinta to stay strong and not lose hope. “Don’t be disappointed #PreityZinta. Cricket is an uncertainty game. Don’t give up, your time will come.”

Another fan wrote, “Chin up @realpreityzinta…. The crown must not fall! Put up a superb fight next time!!”

The emotional tweets didn’t stop there. A fan posted, “A trophy goes to the person who was there since the start, since 2008. Unlike other owners who just showed up this season and pretended to be always there, Preity Zinta came every year travelling miles just to support her team through thick and thin. She was always there at our lowest. Still never trolled anyone, respected and appreciated her fans always. She deserves the world. STAY STRONG PZ!! WE WILL DEFINITELY WIN ONE DAY”

“No one talks about it enough – Preity Zinta truly deserves an IPL trophy. One of the most passionate owners in the game. Hard luck” said another user, praising her dedication.

“If it’s #ViratKohli 18th year in the IPL, then it’s #PreityZinta too. Not as a player – but as the soul of Punjab Kings. Match after match, season after season – she showed up. A queen without a crown” echoed another fan.

Heartfelt messages continued to flood the platform as Zinta has consistently been one of the most committed and emotionally invested team owners in the league and cheering passionately from the stands.

PBKS played exceptionally well in the finals and restricted RCB at the target of 190 but the RCB bowlers outshined everyone with Krunal Pandya, Yash Dayal and Bhuvneshwar Kumar taking the charge at the right time.
