Ram Charan’s ‘The India House’ Shoot Halted After Massive Water Tank Burst At Set Injures Crew


A serious accident occurred at the set of Tollywood actor Ram Charan’s upcoming production The India House, when a water tank burst, injuring several crew members, including an assistant cinematographer.

The incident occurred on the outskirts of Hyderabad, near Shamshabad, during the filming of an water based sequence. The large water tank meant to create ocean like effects, suddenly burst. This caused thousands of litres of water to flood the set. The strong rush of water knocked over several crew members and damaged expensive camera and lighting equipment.

A video from the set has gone viral, showing crew members trying to walk through waist deep water and save the equipment.

The injured crew members were rushed to a hospital and are currently under observation. While the exact number of injuries is yet to be confirmed, reports suggest multiple members were affected.

The shoot has been paused for now. The team is investigating how the accident happened and whether safety rules were followed.

Meanwhile, The India House is a much awaited period drama starring Nikhil Siddhartha, Saiee Manjrekar, and Anupam Kher. The film is directed by Ram Vamsi Krishna and is being produced by Ram Charan’s production house, along with Vikram Reddy and Abhishek Agrawal.
