Is Anirudh Ravichander Marrying Kavya Maran? Music Composer Breaks Silence On Wedding Rumours

Anirudh Ravichander has finally addressed the swirling wedding rumours involving Kavya Maran, daughter of Sun Group Chairman Kalanithi Maran and owner of the IPL team SunRisers Hyderabad. The music composer took to X (formerly Twitter) to quash reports suggesting the two were set to tie the knot.

“Marriage ah? lol .. Chill out guys. pls stop spreading rumours” Anirudh wrote, putting a full stop to the speculation. However, he made no mention of whether the two are dating.

The rumours first gained traction following a viral Reddit post, which claimed that Anirudh and Kavya had been dating for over a year and were considering marriage. A post shared on Reddit claims, “It is being speculated that music composer Anirudh Ravichander and Kavya Maran – daughter of Sun TV’s Kalanithi Maran and owner of the Sunrisers Hyderabad IPL team – are in a relationship. Reports suggest that superstar Rajinikanth has personally spoken to Kalanithi Maran about their relationship, leading to expectations that the couple may tie the knot soon.”

The post suggests that the duo have been spotted together on multiple occasions, including a recent dinner date and even walking together in Las Vegas last year. Adding fuel to the speculation, a Reddit user wrote,“I myself have seen them in Las Vegas a year back, they were having a good personal time walking down the Vegas strip,” Other user, claimed sighting them at hotels, “Might actually be true seeing how I have seen in other subs where people said they have seen both of them having dinner at star hotels.”

Anirudh, comes from a legacy of artists, his father is actor Ravi Raghavendra, and his mother Lakshmi is a classical dancer and his great grandfather, K Subramanyam, was a pioneering filmmaker in the 1930s. He is popularly known for scoring music for top stars like s Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Thalapathy Vijay, Ajith, Suriya, Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, and Jr NTR. He got his Bollywood break with Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan.
