Housefull 5 Becomes A Box Office Powerhouse! Crosses Rs 200 Cr Worldwide In Just Over A Week

Housefull 5 has entered the Rs 200 crore club within just eight days of its theatrical release. According to the makers, the Comic Caper has earned Rs 212.76 crore worldwide, including Rs 140.18 crore net from Indian theatres alone.

The film was released on June 6 and it has collected Rs 6.60 crore net in India and Rs 2.35 crore overseas on its second Friday.

The movie had a strong opening with Rs 24.35 crore net in India and Rs 11.11 crore overseas on Day 1. According to Sacnilk also reported slightly different figures Rs 133.25 crore net in India and Rs 204 crore worldwide and still placing it among the highest grossing Indian films of the year.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Housefull 5 is running successfully in cinemas. The movie features Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan in the lead roles and Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Chunky Pandey and Johnny Lever in the key roles. Meanwhile, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa and Soundarya Sharma are the leading ladies of the film.

The makers of Housefull 5 have released two versions of the film, having different endings. Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff play the role of police officers, trying to investigate the mysterious murders on the ship. In version ‘A’, it is revealed that Abhishek Bachchan aka Jalbhushan is the killer along with Fardeen Khan aka Dev. Meanwhile, in the second version, Chitrangda Singh aka Maya turned out to be the killer alongside Abhishek Bachchan aka Jalbhushan. In the turn of events, the characters claiming to be Jolly turned out to be fake and Bobby Deol made a cameo appearance as the real Jolly.
