Kangana Ranaut Fangirls Over Her Younger Self In Viral Throwback Interview With Simi Garewal

Kangana Ranaut recently had what she described as a “fangirl moment” not for a celebrity, but for her younger self. The actress turned politician stumbled upon an old interview with legendary host Simi Garewal, and was visibly moved by her own confidence and clarity of vision back then.

The clip was originally shared by a fan account which shows a young Kangana answering tough questions with a calm sense of foresight. When asked by Simi, “Suppose all these go away, what happens then?” Kangana responds, “How can it go away? If you are talking about time, times will change, and things will change. But what is in me and what I’ve lived, how can anybody take that away from me?”

Simi then warns,  “Bollywood is not a secure place even for the topmost,” to which Kangana replies, “I myself don’t want to be in Bollywood all my life. That would be ridiculous.”

Kangana further expresses a desire for growth beyond acting, “For me, if I get stuck in time, the worst thing that can happen to me in life is I get stuck in time. I want to grow as a person, as an individual. Today, I’m acting in movies, tomorrow I would want to do something else.”

The caption in the video read, “Kangana had already said that she will do something else and she did it. I think people should now accept that she is no longer just an actress or a filmmaker but also a politician.”

Kangana reposted the video on her Instagram Stories, writing, “Honestly, if I find a young woman as cool as this, I would be a fan.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kangana was last seen in Emergency and now the Queen actress is all set to make her Hollywood debut. She will star in the horror drama ‘Blessed Be the Evil’, alongside Tyler Posey and Scarlet Rose Stallone. She’s also completed shooting a pan-India psychological thriller alongside R. Madhavan, directed by A. L. Vijay.
