‘Two Couples Called Off Divorces…’
The world was shocked and overcome in despair after the recent plane crash in Ahmedabad. As most of the Bollywood actors such as Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan took to social media to describe their feelings of sadness due to the demise, Raageshwari Loomba, a singer and actor of the 90s was opened to a different and emotional perspective towards the tragedy that occurred.
She uploaded a video on Instagram and mentioned that such a tragedy reminded people that family and love are important. Raageshwari said, “Did you know, after the heartbreaking airplane crash, people started to call their families? I know of two couples who decided to let go of their divorces. Families suddenly allowed their egos to soften, their arguments to be resolved. What shifted? Psychologists say it always takes a calamity for us humans to realise where our blessings lie, and that’s why contrast is a must in life.”
She added, “We have to go through the lows to appreciate the highs. We have to go through failures to truly appreciate the joys of success. A calamity like this also makes us pause and reflect on what truly matters—that life is fragile, and relationships are sacred. So, I hope you will now spend time with your family mindfully, truly making them feel precious and special. No wonder a wise person once said, people will forget what you say, what you wear or how you look—but people will never forget how you make them feel. So go ahead, make people feel precious. Make your family feel precious.”
She even added that there should be no sad occasion that should remind us what is important. She, on the contrary, encourages one to connect with their loved ones, forgive, talk with kindness, and prioritize their relationships. Even online her message reached the hearts of many. Her fans hailed the fact that she discussed something so real. One person wrote, “So true. And really good to see you after such a long time.. teenage nostalgia.” Another said, “Indeed ..Value life.. everything else is just hyped and glorified. Family, connections, loved ones ..time with them is everything.” A third comment read, “This is apt and true!”
The Ahmedabad Plane Crash
A tragic accident occurred on June 12 outside Ahmedabad airport where a London-bound Air-India flight crashed shortly after take off. It had 242 passengers. Lives were lost and the whole country was devastated. First responders responded in time and an inquiry is underway to determine the cause of the crash.

Raageshwari Loomba is renowned 1990s. She appeared in Indian cinema such as Aankhen (1993), Main Khiladi Tu Anari (1994), Zid (1994) and Dil Kitna Nadan Hai (1995). Lately, she has appeared in the film Savi. She is also a good singer and her voice was given in the song Osaka Muraiya in the film One2Ka4.
