‘Jab Tu Paida Bhi Nahi…’

RJ Mahvash has hit back at online trolls who credit cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal for her success. In a recent video posted on Instagram, Mahvash dissmised the narrative that Chahal “made her career,” instead laying out her achievements and experience in the industry since 2019.

Captioning the video with “Jab tak khud ke liye nahi bologe, koi tumhare liye nahi bolega (If you would not speak for yourself, nobody will speak for you)”, Mahvash responded directly to viral comments.

“2019 is industry me hu, aao isse pehle ka apna career dikhati hu (I have been here since 2019, let me show you my career)” she said, before rolling a montage of career milestones including her film debut in Section 108 with Nawazuddin Siddiqui.

The video then shows Mahvash tackling another comment that reads, ‘Cricket pitch tak pohach gayee abto to ye, cricket ke baare me kuch janti bhi hai ye (She has reached the cricket pitch, but does she know anything about the sport).’ 

Taking on troll questioning her cricket knowledge, Mahvash hit back: “Jab tu paida bhi nahi hua tha na chotu, tab se cricket shows host kar rahi hu (I have been hosting cricket shows, before you were born). 2019 se I have been on the pitch, WhatsApp university ke forwarded messages mat paadha karo (I have been on the pitch since 2019, so stop getting your information from WhatsApp University’s forwarded messages.)” She went on to show clips of her hosting cricket-related content and interacting with MS Dhoni, Chris Gayle, Harbhajan Singh, Shane Watson, and more.

Mahvash has been making headlines for her alleged relationship with Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. She was spotted several times with Chahal during the IPL season. Mahvash has been openly supporting Chahal and the Punjab Kings. Earlier, in a viral video the duo was seen enjoying a cozy dinner at a restaurant in Jaipur.

Though both have dismissed dating speculation, their consistent public appearances together at cricket matches continue to fuel ongoing relationship rumours.

These public appearances come after Chahal finalized his divorce from influencer Dhanashree Verma on March 20, 2025. They both tied knots in 2020.
