Ajay Devgn’s Son Of Sardaar 2 Trailer Leaves Netizens Unimpressed
The trailer of Son of Sardaar 2 has finally dropped, and Ajay Devgn’s return as Jassi is everything fans hoped for, a riot of comedy, action, and family chaos, this time set in the heart of Scotland. The film, a spiritual successor to the 2012 hit.
When it’s Jassi, expect everything to be classy, massy, and unapologetically Desi. Its sequel opens with the tagline: “He survived Punjab, will he survive Scotland too?”

However, netizens don’t seem entirely convinced. The trailer has received a mixed to negative response online. Several users on X (formerly Twitter) posted their verdict. One user wrote, “Ajay devgan literally decided destroyed his icon films first Singham and now this”, while another commented, “Housefull5 ka trailer fir bhi entertaining tha lol Son of Sardaar2 trailer toh garbage h.”

Directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, the film also features Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, Neeru Bajwa, Chunky Panday, Kubbra Sait, and a poignant appearance by the late Mukul Dev, whose presence in the trailer adds an emotional layer.
Presented by Jio Studios and Devgn Films, the movie is produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande, and is slated for a July 25, 2025 theatrical release.
