Is It Necessary To Watch Any Other Marvel Film Before Seeing Pedro Pascal-Starrer? Find Out

After the grand success of ‘Thunderbolts’, Marvel is gearing up for the release of a new exciting film, ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’. The movie will revive the Fantastic Four franchise and will give it a new spin. Amid all the excitement for the film, fans are wondering if they need to watch any other Marvel movie before seeing ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’.

The answer is ‘no’. ‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ will showcase different storylines and actors but will feature the same characters. It is the reboot of the Fantastic Four film series, which continued till 2015. However, the movie will be a part of Marvel’s new phase, and its characters will be a part of MCU projects in the future.

About The Fantastic Four: The First Steps

The Fantastic Four: First Steps stars Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, and Joseph Quinn in the lead roles. Julia Garner, Sarah Niles, Mark Gatiss, Natasha Lyonne, Paul Walter Hauser, and Ralph Ineson will play the supporting roles.

Earlier, director Matt Shakman revealed why Marvel’s new villain, Doctor Doom, is not a part of the film. He told MovieWeb, “Doom’s a great character, but he takes up a lot of air. Other film adaptations have done both an origin story and Doom. We’re doing neither, and that allows us to look at them from a fresh perspective.”

The movie is set in the 1960s and focuses on four astronauts who gain superpowers after going to space. They are considered heroes by the masses, but things take a turn when a cosmic being, Galactus, comes to Earth to destroy life.

‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’ will hit the theatres on July 25, 2025.
