Kimchi egg fried rice brings the flavours of Korea to a bowl. It is a perfect meal from a leftover rice which brings ultimate comfort of fried rice.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups of cooked rice
- 1/2 cups of minced kimchi
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp of oil
- 1 tsp of sesame oil
- 1 green onion
- 1 chopped garlic clove
- 1 tsp soy sauce
Step By Step Guide
Gather Ingredients
Crack the eggs in a bowl and add chopped kimchi and green onions, mix well.
Prepare The Pan
Heat 1-2 tbsp oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and stir it gently for about 30 seconds until it becomes golden brown.
Add Rice In Kimchi Sauce
Add kimchi into the pan and stir it gently for about 2-3 minutes until it is softened.
Crack The Eggs
Scramble the eggs in a pan, stir the rice in a corner and then mix both the eggs and rice together.
Serve
Pour 1-2 drops of sesame oil and sprinkle chopped green onions over the rice. Mix well and serve it with any egg side dish you like. Enjoy!
