Ingredients

  • 6–8 pieces of soya chaap (fresh)
  • 1 tbsp mustard oil
  • 1 cup thick curd
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • Butter or oil
  • 1 tsp tandoori masala (optional)
  • 2 tbsp roasted gram flour (besan)
  • Chaat masala
  • Onion rings
  • A pinch of Salt
  • Green Chutney

Step By Step Guide

Make The Chaap

To make a perfect appetizer, first you have to take a handsome amount of fresh or frozen soya chaap and boil it for about 5-7 minutes. Now you have to cut the chap into 2 inch pieces. Pat dry and set it aside for a few minutes.

Prepare The Marinade

Next, take a medium size bowl. Mix the ingredients like thick yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, besan, mustard oil , and lemon juice. make a thick paste for marination.

Make The Chaap Ready For Marination

In the next stage, add the pieces of chaap to the marinade and make sure sure that it’s coated well. Now cover the bowl and refrigerate it for at least 2 hours so that it absorbs all the flavour.
