Lockdown only pause button, rapid testing needed, says Rahul Gandhi

India has recorded 12,380 coronavirus cases and 414 deaths so far, as the government permitted reopening up of some industries in rural areas after April 20 in an effort to reduce the economic impact caused by the lockdown.

The Centre on Wednesday released a list of districts  categorised as hotspots for COVID 19 (red zone), non-hotspot districts reporting cases (yellow zone ) and districts which have not reported positive cases (green zone) and urged states to implement containment measures in a focused manner during the extended lockdown period.

As of now there are 170 districts across 20 states or Union Territories that have been identified as hotspots based on either large outbreak, big cluster of cases or rapid doubling of cases.
