Muslim & Christian traders not allowed, show Aadhaar to prove identity: MP village | Details inside



According to the villagers, traders will only be permitted entry into the village after their religion is determined through Aadhaar card verification.

New Delhi: Aftershocks of Nuh violence, which claimed the lives of at least five people, are being felt nationwide. The horrifying clashes are garnering all kinds of reactions from different sects of society. Recently, a village in the Ashoknagar district of Madhya Pradesh banned the entry of Muslim & Christian traders following an order issued by the Panchayat.

Posters and banners bearing the stern message were strategically positioned throughout the village. “Muslim and Christian traders are banned from entering the Dhora Gram Panchayat area. Traders are requested to show their Aadhaar Cards as identity proof upon entering,” it read.

After a recent Panchayat meeting, during which the Sarpanch presented this proposal, the villagers expressed their agreement. As a result, Muslim and Christian traders are now banned from entering this area. Such banners are also placed strategically on the main roads of the village.

According to the villagers, traders will only be permitted entry into the village after their religion is determined through Aadhaar card verification.

“The current state of the country reveals an emergence of cases such as love jihad and religious conversion by Christian missionaries and Muslims, occurring nationwide. And, due to this, all Hindus must be aware of the situation that is prevailing in the country,” said District Head of BJP Kissan Morcha – Bablu Yadav.

He added, “Our sisters and daughters are being subjected to atrocities. Being the Sarpanch of the Panchayat, it is my moral responsibility to safeguard the future of the sisters, daughters and children of the village. And the step has been taken in this direction.”

Panchayats issue letters ‘banning’ Muslim traders in Haryana

Amid communal tensions in certain areas of Haryana, letters allegedly issued by several panchayat leaders in districts including Mahendergarh, Rewari, and Jhajjar appeared on the internet. These letters aim to ‘prohibit’ Muslim traders from entering their villages.
