Bhagwant Mann suffering from deadly liver disease: Bikram Majithia

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is suffering from liver cirrhosis (a deadly liver disease which is also known as hepatic cirrhosis or end-stage liver disease), told Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia to ANI. He has raised concerns over his health and said that because Mann is the head of the state and in a constitutional position, the state should get his health bulletins.

No bulletin on Bhagwant Mann’s health

“He was admitted to Fortis Hospital on Wednesday night, there was no information about him till the morning as to what happened to him and why was the CM admitted. This is a border state that always has to remain alert for tension caused by Pakistan across the border, in such a situation, shouldn’t the government even mention that?”, questioned Majithia.

What is Punjab govt hiding?

Citing his health issues, the SAD leader said that Bhagwant Mann’s frequent hospitalisation seems alarming and worrisome and to keep this hidden serves no purpose. He also said that post his tweet, the Aam Aadmi Party when questioned about Mann’s health, did a cover-up operation and labelled it as a routine checkup. What kind of routine check-up takes the whole night? It merely takes an hour or two.

It is a matter of concern for Punjab that unfortunately due to excessive drinking, Bhagwant Singh Mann is suffering from liver cirrhosis. Taking a dig at the CM, Majithia said that people tend to drink excessively either in happiness or in sadness, many revelations regarding Mann are in the pipeline including the Hawala transaction which is under probe. If someone’s source of income is impacted, the person would be pained but he should take care of his health.
