Jagan Mohan Reddy Urges ‘Pooja’ To Cleanse CM Naidu’s ‘Sin’

YSRCP President and former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Wednesday called on people across Andhra Pradesh to conduct poojas in temples on Saturday, September 28, to “restore the sanctity” of Tirumala. He alleged that the sanctity of the revered temple has been “tarnished” by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Jagan’s Call to Counter Naidu’s Allegations

In a message shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), Jagan urged people to counter what he called “false claims and misinformation” being spread by Naidu. He referred to allegations of the sacred laddu prasadam of Tirumala being adulterated with animal fat.

Allegations of Laddu Adulteration

Jagan accused Naidu of defiling the sanctity of the temple and spreading lies about the laddu prasadam. He stated, “The sanctity of Tirumala, the significance of Swami’s prasadam, the glory of Lord Venkateswara, the fame of TTD, and the sacredness of the laddu prasadam have all been defiled by Chandrababu Naidu, who, with political malice, falsely claimed that animal fat had been mixed with the prasadam, and that devotees had consumed such tainted prasadam.”

Lab Reports Reveal Presence of Foreign Fats

Recently, lab reports released by the Andhra Pradesh government, under the TDP regime, revealed the presence of foreign fats in the ghee supplied during the YSRC regime. These reports, following tests conducted on July 23, identified foreign substances like lard (pig fat), tallow (beef fat), fish oil, as well as vegetable fats such as coconut, linseed, rapeseed, and cottonseed oils. The tests were prompted by complaints regarding changes in the taste of the laddu prasadam.
