Indian Railways are having multiple under development projects some of them are going to be implemented and some are under process stage. One such project of the Indian Railways is the Amrit Bharat Express.

The Indian Railways have introduced this new train and the Union Minister for Railways, Information & Broadcasting, Electronics & Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw shared the glimpse of the train on his X handle.

Ashwini Vaishnaw on Friday inspected the Amrit Bharat 2.0 and of which he shared the images on his X handle. He mentioned the features of Amrit Bharat 2.0 on his X handle like two way communication between passengers and the guard during the emergencies.

The video was also shared by the Union Minister for Railways, Ashwini Vaishnaw. He wrote that, “The Version 2.0 of Amrit Bharat train is thoughtfully designed to bring premium train facilities within reach of ordinary citizens, combining affordability with modern comfort.”

Features of the Amrit Bharat 2.0

The train have colour like the Vande Bharat train. It have the ergonomic handles, ladders for the support to reach the upper berth in the train, aluminum luggage space has been given to put your things and others.

The train supports the passengers with the modular toilets. The basin installed there are stainless steel. The cabin in the train are having LED lights, as per media reports. Not only this but the cabin have the USB-A and USB-C chargers and mobile holders installed there. For the safety of the commuters the train is equipped with EP assist brakes.

As mentioned by the Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on his X handle the train is equipped with the “Two-way communication between passengers and the guard during emergencies.”

Also the Amrit Bharat 2.0 supports the, “Modular Toilets with Fire-safe FRP panels (HL-3 Certified), Durable stainless steel wash basins with Corian finishes, Leak-proof design, better drainage, and ventilation for hygiene and Bright interiors with 3 LED spotlights and dustbins.

Apart from this the Amrit Bharat 2.0, have Aluminium extrusions for upper berth & thicker seat cushions = More comfort during long journeys, Ergonomic handles, chains with locking system & ladders for easy access and Redesigned aluminum luggage racks for more space.

The train supports, Easy coupling/uncoupling with automatic locking mechanism and Energy-absorbing deformation tubes for crash safety.
