Good News! Air India Express Increases Baggage Allowance To 30 KG On THESE Routes; Details Inside News24 –


There is good news for air passengers as Air India Express has announced a significant change in its checked-in baggage allowance. It has been specifically done for passengers flying to the Middle East and Singapore. The airline has increased standard baggage allowance from 20 kilograms to 30 kilograms, with immediate effect. This move will benefit the passengers by allowing them to carry more things conveniently and ease their travel experience.

Not only this, but the airline has also confirmed that the families travelling with infants will benefit from an extra 10 kilograms of complimentary checked-in baggage. The airline in its release said that this has been done to enhance the overall passenger experience on these popular international routes.

“Guests can now enjoy 30 kg of check-in baggage, along with 7 kg of cabin baggage. This enhanced allowance applies to Air India Express international flights between India and the Middle East, as well as Singapore,” the release stated.

Notably, flights between Indian and Middle East in considered to be one of the busiest routes. The airline operates around 450 weekly flights between India and the Middle East.

Meanwhile, Air India has rolled out Wi-Fi internet connectivity services on board domestic and international flights operated by Airbus A350, Boeing 787-9 and select Airbus A321neo aircraft. This makes Air India the first to offer in-flight Wi-Fi internet connectivity on flights within India, enabling travellers – flying for leisure or business – to stay connected to the internet during their flights, and to enjoy browsing, accessing social media, catching up on work, or texting friends and family.
