A shocking incident took place in Madhya Pradesh. In that incident a a robbery suspect escaped from the bars during a visit by a doctor. This happened when they were into getting massages at spa centre in Madhya Pradesh, as reported by NDTV.

A robbery took place on December 25, last year in Nagda Town in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Five armed criminals stormed the Shiva Baba Liquor company, they put the employees on gunpoint and managed to escape with Rs 18 lakhs, as per media reports.

The main suspect was identified as Rohit Sharma and subsequently got arrested. He was put in Khachrod sub-jail on January 5.

He was taken for the medical treatment due to some injury in his leg. On Tuesday at 11 am jail guards escorted him to the government hospital. As per rules, detainees must return to jail immediately after getting treatment. But till 6 pm he didn’t returned.

Authorities found discrepancies in the statements of two jails guards, prompting an urgent review of the hospital’s CCTV visuals. As per the visuals, Rohit Sharma left the hospital between 12 -12:30 pm, as per media reports. Instead of taking him back to jail, the jail guards allegedly took him to a spa in Ratkam, as per reports.

Later the suspect managed to escape. As per CCTV Visuals of spa, Suspect got the massage.

Case has been registered by the police against the two jail guards in this case.

As per reports, Ujjain SP Pradeep Sharma stated that both guards have been suspended.
