Uttar Pradesh, the fourth largest state in terms of area, is going to get another gift in the form of an expressway. The high-speed Vindhya Expressway currently builds as a six-lane 320-kilometer pathway that connects Sonbhadra to Prayagraj.
The designed infrastructure project will establish a quick-network system for better transportation that reduces time requirements and facilitates economic growth. The direct route of the expressway enables effective reduction of road congestion on current transportation paths and drives faster economic expansion for trade and tourism sectors along with logistics operations in the region.
About The Expressway
The Prayagraj-Sonbhadra expressway stretches 320 kilometers offering transportation along principal locations at Mirzapur, Varanasi, Chandauli. Due to this, the connectivity with other states like Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh will increase.
According to media reports, the cost of the project will be around Rs 22,400 crore. The Ganga Expressway provides a connection between Prayagraj and National Highway 39 in Sonbhadra to support travel between districts of Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, as reported by Times Now.
The Vindhya region will thrive through better transportation services enabling tourism expansion and trade-commerce along with economic development thus advancing Uttar Pradesh’s growth as a whole.
