The traffic congestion observed in the Greater Noida West area is likely to ease shortly as the construction of a new U-turn near the Ek Murti roundabout has begun. After the completion of the U-turn, traffic will be eased in this stretch.

According to officials, the Greater Noida Authority is exploring options to end the traffic congestion in Greater Noida West. As part of this effort, a new U-turn construction is finalised between Ek Murti Roundabout and Galaxy Vega Roundabout.

On Sunday, more than 20 workers were working on this U-turn while officials from the Greater Noida Authority were also supervising the construction of an underpass that was previously started.

The officials said that the progress on the underpass is remarkable, and the construction of another U-turn near Town Central Mall is expected to be completed by the end of next month.

Notably, the population of the Greater Nooda Weat has considerably increased in the last few years. This resulted in massive traffic in the area. Apart from this, the junction is also important as people heading towards the Delhi-Meerut Expressway, the Republic Crossing, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad merge there.
