Heatwave to Grip Gujarat, Odisha, Rajasthan & More; Temperature Swings Ahead News24 –

The weather forecast predicts quite abnormal temperature variations in a few days, including potential heatwave conditions, for some regions of India. During the next 48 hours, the plains of Northwest India will see little temperature change, while West India will witness a gradual fall and a rise in temperature in Central and East India.

1. No significant change in maximum temperatures likely over plains of Northwest India during next 48 hours and fall by 2-3°C thereafter.

2. Gradual fall in maximum temperatures by 2-3°C likely over many parts of West India during next 4-5 days.

3. Gradual rise in maximum temperatures by about 2°C likely over Central India during next 3 days and no significant change thereafter.

4.Gradual rise in maximum temperatures by 3-5°C likely over East India during next 5 days.

Warm night conditions very likely to prevail in isolated pockets over on Saurashtra & Kutch on 12th and Odisha on 15th & 16th March. Past Weather In Delhi NCR

There has been a rise in minimum and maximum temperatures up to 02 – 03°C over Delhi/NCR during the past 24 hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures over Delhi are in the range of 33 to 35°C and 16 to 17°C respectively. The minimum temperature was above normal up to 02°C and maximum temperature was above normal up to 06°C at most places.

Mainly clear sky conditions with predominant surface wind from the northwest direction with wind speeds less than 08 to 12 kmph prevailed during the past 24 hours.
