Stray Dog Found Carrying Dead Newborn in MP’s Rewa; Shocking Video Goes Viral News24 –

The Madhya Pradesh police swung into action after receiving information about a dead newborn baby who was carried by a stray dog in its mouth in Rewa. The police have launched a probe against those who dumped the baby. 

A video of the incident showing the stray dog carrying the baby’s body in its mouth and running on the streets went viral on social media. A local shot the video of the dog near Kabaddi Mohalla at Jaystambh Chowk. 

The police said this was the third incident when a newborn baby was dumped and the second such incident when the dog carried the baby’s body in its mouth.  

A senior police officer said it was very disturbing news. They took cognisance of the viral video and sent Civil Lines police to recover the body from the canine who was chased away. 

The police officials are interrogating the locals who shot the video to establish the links. The police have already urged people to share information about the incident if they have any.
