Temperature Rise Expected In Northwest India, Heat Wave In Odisha, Gujarat, And Karnataka News24 –


The weather forecast for the coming days indicates a gradual rise in temperatures over Northwest India, while Central India, Interior Maharashtra, and East India will experience slight fluctuations. Heat wave conditions are expected in isolated areas of Odisha, Gujarat, and Karnataka. Meanwhile, Delhi NCR has seen a slight dip in temperatures, with clear skies and mild winds prevailing in the region.

Temperature Forecast

Gradual rise in maximum temperatures by about 2-3°C likely over Northwest India during next 3 days and no significant change thereafter. No significant change in maximum temperatures likely over Central India and Interior Maharashtra during next 24 hours and fall by 2-4°C during subsequent 2-5 days.

No significant change in maximum temperatures likely over East India during next 3 days and fall by 3-5°C during subsequent 2 days. No significant change in maximum temperatures likely over Gujarat State during next 4 days and rise by 2-3°C thereafter

Heat Wave Warning

Heat wave conditions are likely to continue at isolated pockets over interior Odisha on 18th March. Hot & humid conditions are very likely to prevail in isolated pockets over coastal areas of Gujarat State during next 2 days and over interior Karnataka during 18 th -20th March.

Past Weather In Delhi NCR

There has been a fall in minimum and maximum temperatures up to 02°C over Delhi/NCR during the past 24 hours. The maximum and minimum temperatures over Delhi are in the range of 28 to 30°C and 13 to 16°C respectively.

The minimum and maximum temperatures were below normal up to 02°C at most places. Mainly clear sky conditions with predominant surface wind from the northwest direction with wind speeds less than 16 to 18 kmph prevailed during the past 24 hours. Mainly clear sky conditions with wind speed less than 10 kmph from the southwest direction prevailed over the region in the forenoon today.
