Ghaziabad-Kanpur Expressway To Cut Travel Time By 3 Hours, Likely To Get Completed By 2026 News24 –

The Ghaziabad-Kanpur Expressway is being developed under the Green Highway Policy to create better infrastructure between nine Uttar Pradesh districts. The expressway stretches 380 km and its construction aims to minimize this journey from 8 hours to 5 hours which represents a 3-hour reduction. This expressway will traverse Ghaziabad and Hapur as well as Bulandshahr and will continue through Aligarh Kasganj before reaching Farrukhabad Kannauj Unnao and eventually Kanpur.

The reports indicate that this project should reach completion by the year 2026. The expressway began as a four-lane facility yet developers have included operational flexibility to convert it into a six-lane facility if necessity arises. The expressway has been planned to join Jewar Airport in Noida thus providing a straight path between Kanpur and Noida Airport.

About Patna-Sasaram Expressway:

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) under Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given the green signal to build a 120 km long 4-lane Greenfield Expressway extending from Patna to Sasaram in Bihar. The route will be constructed for Rs 3,712.40 crore. This will solve the traffic-related problem in Patna, Arwal, Bhojpur, Rohtas and Sasaram. This will boost the economy of the state.
