‘As Long As Mamata Banerjee Is Alive, She Will Be The CM Of West Bengal’ News24 –


Trinamool Congress on Friday said as long as Mamata Banerjee is alive, she would be the Chief Minister of West Bengal. TMC leader Sudip Bandhopadhyay alleged that the BJP wants to create a Hindu-Muslim divide and remove Mamata Banerjee from power in West Bengal. BJP has already announced to take out rallies on Ram Navami in West Bengal.

BJP wants to create Hindu-Muslim divide’

On Ram Navami 2025 procession in West Bengal, TMC MP Sudip Bandyopadhyay says, “…Worship whoever you want to. There is no secular leader like Mamata Banerjee in this country. There is Constitution, you need to take permission and inform the Police…The goal (of Opposition in WB) is to create Hindu-Muslim divide and remove Mamata Banerjee from power in West Bengal. This won’t happen. As long as she is alive, she would be the CM. Even after her, we would rule in West Bengal.”

‘Don’t create a riot-like situation’

On April 2, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee urged all communities to maintain peace during Ram Navami.

“They are doing a rally on Ram Navami. We want peace. Everyone will do puja. I request everyone and all communities to maintain peace. Don’t create a riot-like situation. We will follow Ramakrishna, not jumla party. We will follow Vivekananda, not jumla party. I repeat, don’t try to disturb each other’s programs and festivals,” she said.

Ram Navami is observed on the ninth day of the Chaitra month

This festival marks the birth of Lord Rama, who is considered the seventh incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Ram Navami is observed on the ninth day (Navami) of the Chaitra month in the Hindu calendar.

Ahead of Ram Navami, which is to be celebrated across the country on March 6, markets and shops were decked up with flags and posters as preparations went ahead in full swing in Howrah in Kolkata on Friday.
