JK Police Reinforces Counter-Terrorism And Cybercrime Measures, DGP Prabhat Affirms Commitment To Martyrs’ Families News24 –


Jammu and Kashmir’s Director General of Police (DGP) Nalin Prabhat announced that the JK Police is intensifying efforts to strengthen its counter-terrorism grid while also addressing the rising threat of cybercrime.

DGP Prabhat in his address during a passing out parade at Manigam, central Kashmir, expressed gratitude to the central government and the Ministry of Home Affairs for their unwavering support. “We are thankful to the Centre for providing us with all the necessary assistance and cooperation,” he said, underscoring the importance of collaboration in enhancing security measures in the UT.

During his address, Prabhat reaffirmed the department’s commitment to the families of martyrs, emphasizing that their sacrifices will not be forgotten. “The JK Police stands firmly with the families of those who have laid down their lives in the line of duty,” he said, highlighting the force’s dedication to honoring their legacy.

Congratulating the new recruits who are now part of the JK Police, DGP Prabhat praised their discipline and resolve. “You have become part of one of the best police forces in the country. I see great potential and enthusiasm in you, and I wish you all the best for your future endeavors,” he remarked, encouraging them to uphold the values of integrity and service.
