The security forces have launched a massive anti-terror operation in the Pahalgam area following a terror attack in the Baisaran area today afternoon. In a post on X, LG Manoj Sinha, said that aan nti-terror operation has been launched to neutralise terrorists.
“The entire nation is angry & the blood of our forces is boiling. I want to assure the nation that perpetrators of the Pahalgam attack will have to pay a very heavy price for their heinous act. My heartfelt condolences to bereaved families,” he said.
Terrorists attacked a group of tourists in the Baisaran area of Pahalgam today afternoon with many casualties feared in the attack, while official confirmation about the death count is still awaited.
