After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh reached Udhampur this afternoon, where he held an important meeting with the district administration and security agencies.
Dr. Jitendra Singh held a detailed meeting with officials of the District Administration, Police, Army, and other allied Security Agencies at the DC office. During this, the current security situation was reviewed, and the upcoming strategy was discussed.
The Union Minister directed the officials to exercise full vigilance to deal with any possible threat, and no laxity should be taken in the security of the general public.
Dr. Jitendra Singh, while talking to the media after the meeting, said that the Central Government is fully committed to maintaining peace in Jammu and Kashmir, and no conspiracy will be allowed to succeed. He also appealed to the common citizens to stay away from rumors and cooperate with the security agencies.
After the attack in Pahalgam, security agencies are on alert mode in the entire state, and search operations are also being carried out continuously.
